The next Mitigation Commission meeting will be on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 in the Commission office conference room. Check back later for an agenda.

The Mitigation Commission, U.S. Department of the Interior's CUPCA Office, and Central Utah Water Conservancy District, in cooperation with the June Sucker Recovery Implementation Program, are preparing an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for public review on a proposed stream channel and delta restoration project for the lower Provo River and its interface with Utah Lake near Provo, Utah. [Click here to download a handout describing this project.] A public meeting to learn more about the project and provide input was held Thursday, March 25 in Provo, Utah. Click here to view the Public Notice and Notice of Intent to Prepare an Environmental Impact Statement and Announcement of Public Scoping for the proposed Lower Provo River-Utah Lake Delta Restoration, Utah County, Utah. The deadline for all public comments on this proposal was April 30, 2010.
